Tag Festival at Newcastle Falcons - Sunday 7th March 2010

Ponteland RFC have entered teams in both the under 7's and under 8's competitions.

The festival will be run prior to the Falcon's v's Bath Rugby match, with the finals taking place on the pitch at half time.  Falcons have told us we will be given complimentary match tickets for up to 10 children in each age group.  All participants will be encouraged to do a lap of honour prior to the match.

We have entered teams in both age groups, we do not like having to pick a squad as all the boys deserve to take part in this event, however we are restricted to a squad of 10 in each age group.  To be as fair as possible we will use the following criteria to select the teams.

**** STOP PRESS - We have now entered two teams in the under 8's competition - That assumes everybody turns up - If you have put your name down please ensure you can come ****

1) Availability of player confirmed to Patrick by Sunday 31st January 2010

2) Regularity of attendance at training sessions

3) Should we still be oversubscribed, random selection of remaining players will take place.

Under 6's - Unfortunately RFU regulations do not allow players under the age of 6 years.

Match Tickets for Parents - These are available at a discounted rate of £10 per adult and £3 a child, please confirm number of tickets required and give appropriate payment to Patrick by 31st January 2010.

N.B. A parent or other responsible adult is expected to accompany each child at all times during the festival.
